New E-Book: There Are Diamonds On Your Campus

How do you find people who have similar beliefs, values, goals, and visions on your own campus and across the world? How do you build deep, lasting connections with others based on these similarities?

If you are young, passionate about life and you think entrepreneurially, you probably wrestle with these questions.

I've co-written a 33-page e-book with Sheena, There Are Diamonds on Your Campus, about building deep connections with other super-achievers. Below is an excerpt:

There’s a diamond inside every piece of coal. It’s a proven fact. All you have to do is expose it to extreme heat and pressure, wait a little bit, and voilà, a diamond. Unfortunately, as we all know, it’s not that easy. Humans have not yet made a tool capable of creating diamonds from coal.

This same metaphor exists in life. In life, we probably make eye contact with thousands, if not tens of thousands of people. Even though there are diamonds in their eyes, we see coal. We’ve probably looked into the eyes of hundreds of potential friends, spouses, and business partners, and then walked on, not knowing any better. For example, in New York City, one of the world’s largest cities, people often feel isolated. Odd, right? Especially when you consider that on a simple commute to work, it is normal to literally see hundreds of people and not say a word. Think about what this means and the potential that is lost. Millions of people could be connecting, supporting, and educating each other every single day, but they don’t. Not because they can’t. Not because they don’t want to. And, not because it isn’t a good idea. On the contrary, it is because it is socially-awkward to start a conversation with somebody…Sad, but true. The environment just isn’t right and most of us don’t have the confidence to break the social norms of the environment.

It doesn’t have to be this way. This ebook introduces and provides advice on how to leverage tools and processes, some of which would normally cost over $100 per hour to use, to break past barriers. Best of all, these tools are completely free, have no strings attached, and are provided on your campus. While any student can use and benefit from this ebook, it is specifically targeted at action-oriented students interested in creating success for themselves and others.

Full Disclosure: We do promote Journeypage, our free online community that builds deep connections between super-achievers. However, in the end, it doesn’t matter if you use JourneyPage or not… the idea of finding like-minded people by using specific, under-utilized resources on your campus is still just as valid.

$20 For Testing Our New Self-Development Tool

We're giving $20 to the first 5 people who test our new online self-development tool and provide us with detailed feedback. We've been developing it over the past half year, and it makes it possible for people to get immediate, constructive life feedback from people they know. I’ve tested the system a number of times and have honestly been surprised by the feedback I’ve received.

Creating a survey takes less than five minutes and allows for anonymous feedback! The benefits of the system, when used effectively, include:

  • Showing others that you’re open to receiving feedback.
  • Gaining a deeper understanding of yourself by noticing patterns in other people’s feedback.
  • Understanding how others perceive you more accurately.
  • Satisfying your curiosity and having fun.
Special thanks to our web development company, Reubro International. They're located in India and do great work at great prices and have incredible customer service.

How to Participate:

  1. Send out a survey at lifefeedback.com to at least 10 people.
  2. Send answers to the survey below to michael@successmanifesto.com. Please no attachments.
